Why use the Agency Dashboard?

Why is there an Agency Dashboard if we already have the Main DSR?

We built the Agency Dashboard to help keep field operations focused on updating their information. The Agency Dashboard simply pulls in all the information regarding a single agency into their own view. The hope is to reduce the clutter and streamline daily tasks.

Who should use it?

The Agency Dashboard is better used by field operations and not dispatch or command centers. The Agency Dashboard is designed to pulled in information that is tagged specifically to an agency

Along with agency specific information, we wanted to add additional "planning" tools to help field operations prepare for the day or week

How do you access the Agency Dashboard?

The Agency Dashboard can be found in the top right drop down box on the main page or Click HERE

Want the Agency Dashboard to be the first thing you see when you log in? Email (info@grizzlysystems.co) or use the Help Chat to reach us and we can set it as your default dashboard.

Today Tab

We added the Today tab to give you a quick glance of shared information that could affect your day. You can quickly see:

  • Notices
  • Announcements

  • Quick access to other important tools or resources

  • Top 5 Fires - Measured by acres burned and filterable by state

If you have any ideas for quick links or other ways to filter fires, let us know!

Staffing

The Staffing tab will pull in all Billets that belong to your agency. It displays the personnel assigned that day, their phone number (or email if no phone is available) and their scheduled shift.

Deployment Resources

Probably one of the most used tabs is the Deployment Resources. This tab has all your agency resources that are assigned on any type of Team or Overhead and whether they are staged or deployed. There are a lot of visual cues to help ensure resources are correctly updated, rosters assigned and quick access to deployed resources

Each card has a variety of visual indicators to help keep you updated

Starting from the left box you can see

  • which resource
  • what type of team or deployment it is on
  • if it is assigned to an incident
  • if it has personnel on it
  • if there is any issues with their capabilities

Click on any of the orange words or 3-dot menu to dig in deeper

Resources

These are shared resources that have been grouped together by your dispatch or command center, but only showing your resources and their capabilities. This allows you to quickly see what capabilities are on or off

Rotations

Again, these are groups of rotations created by your dispatch or command center. Here you can quick see your agency's rotations where you can quickly toggle the availability. You can also see what position your agency is in and determine if you need to pack that to-go bag today

Position is NOT affected by other agency's responses. If they are above your agency and they turned their availability off, it will not affect your position number (this will be fixed on a future release)
